Kidisms
Elias has discovered the joy of grits. Apparently the word makes no sense in his mind, so he has dubbed them, "footprints". He wakes up in the morning asking for footprints for breakfast.
Both Micah and he call water, watee.
They love to run around singing, "We are toot toots!" No idea where or how it got started. I asked Micah after about a week what a toot toot was and he said a fart. Lovely. They're out of the phase where they insist on saying it before they hang up the phone.
Bananas are beenas to Elias and Micah calls them banas.

This and That
One of these days, I'll get the blogging down and will do it on a regular basis. Until then, my ADD will continue to wreck make my life more interesting. It's a wonder I haven't wandered off without my children yet. That's neither here nor there though.
We're now living it up with the in laws. Weeeeee! That's what happens when you find out your home is infested with mold and the reason your hackety children are constantly infected with respiratory infections. I'd had headaches daily since about the 15th wk of pregnancy. (At least it waited until the morning sickness stopped.) The morning after we left, my head stopped pounding. Poor Elias has been on the nebulizer for about 1.5 wks now after having coughed his way thru the months of March, April and beginning of May. Before you ask, I'm not totally negligent, he did go to the dr during that time. He was dx with an upper respiratory infection and Micah had bronchitis, on the cusp of pneumonia. Always a good time round these parts!
Back to the point. Robert, having kindly given me less than a wk to get our shiznit and leave the other house, has thrown me for a hormonal loop. As if I needed anymore reason to be more batshit crazy than I already am. We're house hunting on top of that. Thank God to be getting out of Orange Park. Not having to drive across the blasted Buckman Bridge on a regular basis might almost be as nice as seeing the Krispy Kreme sign lit up with, "Hot Now". It eliminates Micah's constant crying over the bridge being too loud and the having to leave early enough to beat the traffic back home. Not to mention, Mandarin is significantly more civilized. Don't get me wrong, I love the Busch in a can drinking rednecks as much as the next person, (you do know my family is in Middleburg, right?), but OP has never been my cuppa.
What else?
Oh, I'm still trudging thru the medical trasncription. Here's to hoping I'll be done before Bebe gets here!
Lately, I've become slightly obsessed with learning and reading about different types of religious denoms and their docrtrine. Now I'm trying to find where my family fits in all that and where to go from here. Shockingly enough, I've learned that most everything I've been taught and experienced about other religions, other than the ones I've been raised in, has been false. Excellent. I hope to not pass on the same things to my little people. God is a lot more gracious than I realized and my thoughts have changed on a lot of the way I thought He viewed people as a whole. I'll save the details so I don't expose myself as the blasphemous heathen I am. :)
Moving right along. The kids are well. Bach is still a pain in the ass. Robert is chugging right along and I'm still growing a hidden gendered baby. By the way, it's amazing how irritated people get when you tell them you're deliberately not learning the sex of your unborn child. The horror! If any of you would like to learn the sex, feel free to look at the second page in my medical chart, since the ultrasound tech informed me not to do so. It makes walking up to the front desk, with said chart in hand, seem a lot longer than it is. I wish I didn't know I had the info right in my hands. Sheesh people, I still shake presents for crying out loud!
And with that, 24 is coming on, Twiggles just got home from work and there's an organic milk chocolate peanut butter cup calling my name.

brotherly convos
M: 'Lias, why you get sick?
E: Cuz I did.
M: Oh, your tummy hurts?
E: Yeah.
M: Well, that's a-sgusting. Freaking a-sgusting. You don't frow up in the bed again, you hear me.
We can attribute the "You hear me" to Robert.
